Staff is so friendly, most know you by face since its a small town! Food is always ready fast and tastes great! Prices are a bit steep, but for home town cooking, I'll gladly pay it!

Only gave 4 stars because it's not as good as I remembered as a kid. But still a great place to go eat.

We just moved into town a few weeks ago. The few was amazing the first time. This time the rolls were doughy and the buffet food was cold. So won't be doing the buffet again.

The food was just wonderful the decorum was beautiful I had a wonderful time and the strawberries they gave out was just beautiful

The food wasn't horrible but they put jalapenos in the hushpuppies. When i said something to Jason about it he just said yes and walked away. I said something to the server about it as well she said ok. And the soda is 3.00. Won't be going back there....

The food was good maybe a little too salty. And it was kinda pricey. But the employees were very nice

It was horrible it was 48 dollars and they put spicy stufd in the hush puppys and didnt tell us then when we told someone they just said ok and acted like nothing happened

I ordered the Turkey and swiss on sourdough, with a side of grilled asparagus. The sandwich was very tasty, but the grilled asparagus was the best I have ever eaten!!! So good!!!

The buffet was good...my husband enjoyed it. I had the chicken fried steak and my first cut separated the crust from the meat. It was ok. It is a family restaurant so we wound up being seated by a very loud disruptive toddler that finally got entertained by a movie. Bathrooms are remarkable...huge and nicely decorated. Staff is very nice. Will I go back? Eh...if I'm that way again but will not be making a special trip.

Bit pricey and care worn, despite updates to outside. They're proud of their buffet. But steaks are good. Wish they had strip steaks. Almost no one sells them anymore.

Great place to go eat, great staff all around. I wish they would change up the buffet every now and then. Salad is always good and fresh and the Jalapeno chicken is fantastic and I wish I had the breading recipe.

Most wonderful place in Cushing

Never been before and stopped on our way thru, ordered a burger at a steak house it was a frozen patty and tasted terrible... my husband got a chicken fried steak and gave me a piece I had to spit it out after I chewed it for 3 minutes. His mashed potatoes were dry like they had been put on the plate and put under a heat lamp until the sides dried out and gravy was poured on top. The tea was good and the fries were alright but, I had to go find someone to ask for mustard because our waitress was no where to be found... we wont be coming back I really expected way more out of a steak house....

Great food and great wait staff. Very interesting decor with antiques and artifacts.

My expectations (which are high) were exceeded. NY Strip steak medium rare was a quality steak cooked to perfection. Looked so good I forgot to snap a pic. Wait staff were very attentive but not bothersome. Others in my group had the buffet and they were very pleased with it. Overall great experience.

The food on the buffet was dry and half the food on the buffet wasnt even there. Asked an employee about replacing the food that wasnt there and she never came back. Would not recommend the buffet to anyone.

Steer Inn is very clean and the atmosphere is awesome and food on the buffet was great and hot. Very good service.

I've been in the restaurant business my entire life and have one issue with tonight's visit. As usual the food was perfect. The service was good until I brought up the fact that I wasn't charged for my coffee. I was told to not worry about it.. and was served a second cup.To me that's unexcused. If they want a larger tip it won't happen. In the meantime their giving away their pay raise as well as profit and pay raises for the kitchen staff.

Just have to say amazing buffet, everything was good taste. From out of town, transport horses coast to coast. A good home cooking place is always great finds!

My wife and I had lunch there today. Very good service and food was great. A little pricy but quality of food made it all worthwhile, will go back in the future.

10 oz.. prime rib was very goodSweet tea was good and fresh.Fried squash was thick and done well.Chocolate pie was nice.Price and service were very good.

I used to be a very regular customer with my family, like at least twice a week. We hadn't went in several years, because it had gotten overpriced and the food was below average. We decided to revisit, and we were so happy. Service was wonderful, the food was great, and the prices were in line with what you would expect pay. Steer Inn has great home style food. It is well worth visiting again if you haven't been in a while. We have added this place back on our list, and put it to the top!

Thursday night comfort food buffet. Hamburger/gravy, fried chicken, pork, fish. No room for dessert, staff very nice.

We had a family dinner of about 20 people at the Steer Inn at 3:00 p.m. on 2/10/2020, and they pulled it off seamlessly. In spite of it being mid afternoon, the food was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. The whole experience far exceeded my expectations, and I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you, Steer Inn, for a superb job for my family and me.

Had not been here in a LONG time. The service was good, the food was excellent. It is amazing how big the servings are here. We always get a box to go! Kathy took exceptional care of us, but ask for Cloey!

Absolutely the BEST buffet in Payne County Oklahoma! Homemade food is what puts their buffet ahead of anybody else. They have the most tenderest smoked ribs and their hand carved prime rib and roast beef just falls apart. And did I mention the home cooked smell that welcomes everybody as soon as ya open the door to come inside? Don't forget to try the homemade Cornbread Salad, it's so good! This restaurant is me and my mama's most favorite.

Steer Inn always provides my wife and I with excellent service. We always make it a point to stop by when we are in town and the portions are hardy! The only issue we've had was processing an online order and they were quick to resolve the issue.

The Friday night buffet has a lot of meat, a few veggies, gravy, white and brown, from a can, a large selection of pre-made salads, cobbler and cookies that also tasted like the kind you buy frozen and bake. I know I'm picky because I started and ran a successful catering business where we made everything from scratch. It was $30 after tax, before tip, for two of us.

They forgot my drink on my call in order. It was a little okie drink. The next day i called and complained and they replaced it with a large drink. No problem

It's was good family restaurant with good food

Waitress was friendly and gave great service. Roast beef was wonderful. I was visiting my boyfriend but I will definitely be back.
